Fair Pay Agreements Bill passes Select Committee stage

The Fair Pay Agreements Bill (FPAB) introduced in March 2022 has now passed the Select Committee stage and will continue on the path to becoming enacted into legislation remaining largely unchanged. You can read more about the FPAB here.

The Select Committee has largely ignored the concerns of employers and the large number of submissions against the FPAB, and leaves unanswered significant practical concerns in terms of its application.

Message for Employers

The FPAB will return to Parliament for its second reading and is expected to pass later this year. We will continue to monitor its progress and update you.  To find out more about what this may mean for you, please contact our team.
